We tried driving around and handing them out, but for some reason, we couldn't find any homeless people. We ended up going to the area across the street from the Denver Rescue Mission. I was disappointed that we ran out, but we were hopeful that they shared. Next time, we will take 100. 30 meals handed out today. I've been signing up for stuff, but everyone has enough volunteers for the holidays. I was listening to Oprah Radio and there's a segment called "Soul Series", the woman was talking about how when you want to volunteer, that you do so much and that's why people end up not doing anything at all. I think that's what I did. So, I decided to stop and listen. Yesterday, I went out and just bought some stuff to make sack lunches for the homeless. Today we're going to go hand them out. That's it. One thing at a time. I'll try to find someone to work with continuously, but, until then, this is a start. Ok, this is weird.
